Hi, this was reported by a few people, and I fixed it in the new 0.2.1 version I uploaded a few hours ago. Could you try the latest version and see if it's fixed?
Saving now works. What I'd still like to see is the option to freely swap the Start and B button (or the A button). That way, you could assign either the A or B button to the Crank and the Start to a button. The reason for this is Pokemon Pinball, which was controlled using the Start button on the Mini. However, that doesn't work well with the Crank.
I think if the ROM file has an irregular character in its name it is unable to launch, as any that contained the word ‘pokémon’ failed, but those that didn’t launched fine. I renamed all cases to ‘pokemon’ & everything seems to launch properly now.
Hi, thank you for reporting this issue! I initially avoided names with accents because the font I use doesn't have those characters, but I've added a fallback font in case a ROM contains accented characters, which can definitely happen with Pokémon games. I've uploaded a new build that fixes it.

Saves don't work for me. Whether I select a new game using Rompicker or close and restart the app, no save files are created.

It will be added in the next version 💪
